Heroes In Action

NEW APPLICANTS

THE JUNIOR LIFEGUARD PROGRAM

is offered to all boys and girls ages 9 -17 in Los Angeles County.  The program usually runs during the month of July. Exact dates change year to year, please contact the Junior Lifeguard office for exact dates. All sessions are instructed and supervised by experienced LA County Fire Department Lifeguards.

REQUIREMENTS

A Junior Lifeguard must participate in buoy swims, sand runs and other unique physical events on a daily basis in order to receive a certificate of completion.
