Health Programs, under the direction of the Health Programs Coordinator and in conjunction with the Medical Director, is responsible for health awareness and prevention programs as well as the Wellness and Fitness Program scheduling, follow up for communicable disease exposures and tracking and immunization programs. The immunization programs provided for employees include Hepatitis A and B, Influenza and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. The Department's Mental Health Coordinator, Anne Kellogg, Ph.D., reports to Health Programs and provides support for one-on-one consultations as well as specific issues related to drug and alcohol abuse, family dynamics and other life stressors. The CISM Coordinator, in conjunction with the Mental Health Coordinator, oversee the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Program and peers. The Firefighters' Cancer Support Network (FCSN) is supported by Health Programs.
