eDAPTS

The Department is improving the current business process of Fire Prevention with the implementation of the “electronic Development and Permit Tracking System” (eDAPTS). This improvement will include all aspects of Fire Prevention in this Department. It will also include modification of inspection practices, fire prevention reporting and filing, tracking and scheduling of plans and inspections, and revising portions of the Department Manuals. Many aspects of Fire Prevention reporting and filing will be automated. The changes will involve and impact the Prevention, Operations, and Administrative Bureaus. eDAPTS will also involve pre-planning, target hazard inspections, brush inspections, mapping and many other Department activities.
