What's New HHMBP is due March 1, 2013 The annual Hazardous Materials Inventory update will be due March 1, 2013 and is to be submitted using the State's California Environmental Reporting System (CERS - http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/). Notifications containing your specific facility CERS identification numbers have been mailed the week of December 16th. Hazardous Materials Threshold Reporting Changes: On October 8, 2011, Governor Brown signed Assembly Bill (AB) 408. AB 408 amends the Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.95, Section 25503.5 hazardous materials inventory reporting thresholds. The changes may affect the hazardous materials inventory reporting for your facility. AB 408 is "emergency legislation" so the changes are effective immediately. Read More... Lead Acid Battery Inventory Reporting Guidance E-Reporting is Coming By January 1, 2013 All businesses will be able to conduct their annual CUPA reporting electronically through the internet, eliminating the need for paper forms. Prior to the launching of electronic reporting training and instructional materials will be made available to businesses. Further information will follow as we approach the target date.
