Gayle Sharp, R.N., was officially recognized as our Department's 2011 Nurse of the Year at the May 10 meeting of the Board of Supervisors. Supervisor Don Knabe presented Sharp with a specially-designed scroll, describing her as "an incredible resource for policy and training." Added Knabe, "She is an experienced and knowledgeable educator, and we appreciate all that she does. I know she is well liked, well thought of and a leader out there, and our Fire Department personnel just think the world of her."
