Alameda Corridor Drill

Alameda Corridor Drill 1024 682 Colton Lucas

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) participated in the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority’s (ACTA) annual training exercise.

Over 150 first responders from various agencies, including the LACoFD, Compton, Los Angeles, City, Montebello, Long Beach, Santa Fe Springs, and Downey Fire Departments, along with partners from several law enforcement agencies, trained on potential emergency scenarios, involving a large-scale hazardous materials incident with an injured patient in the 30-foot deep corridor.

The LACoFD is thankful to the ACTA for continually providing this opportunity to train with and strengthen the coordination and communication with various public safety partners to help keep the corridor safe and functional.
