The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), in partnership with the Los Angeles County Fire Department Asian Pacific Islander (LACoFD API) Association, proudly celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, acknowledging the AAPI community’s contributions and cultural richness.
Observed annually from May 1 to May 31, AAPI Heritage Month provides an opportunity to honor the history and traditions of AAPI communities throughout the county.
The LACoFD API Association Executive Board, consisting of Battalion Chief Ramon Valdoria (President), Fire Captain John Tran (Vice President) and Executive Assistant Amy Lozano (Secretary/Treasurer, shared a message for the community to honor this AAPI Heritage Month.
