Interim Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone joined Fifth District County Supervisor Kathryn Barger on Saturday, December 10, 2022, with distributing toys to foster children in need at her annual holiday event at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Invited by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, hundreds of children and teenagers of foster families chose and received new toys and sports equipment, met Santa, and had an opportunity to enjoy the amusement park for the day.

Additionally, a check for $2,500 was presented to the Department’s Spark of Love program from the Los Angeles County Hispanic Managers Association.

Despite a few drizzles, everyone enjoyed the annual event!
