The County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) recently held three 20-hour Federal Emergency Management Agency Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes in the City of Inglewood, William S. Hart Union High School District, and the City of Santa Clarita in April and May 2025.

The County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) recently held three 20-hour Federal Emergency Management Agency Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes in the City of Inglewood, William S. Hart Union High School District, and the City of Santa Clarita in April and May 2025.

In total, over 100 participants completed CERT training, acquiring skills in disaster preparedness, fire suppression, medical operations, light search and rescue operations, disaster psychology and team organization, terrorism, and more.

To culminate each training, each participant was presented with a certificate of completion.
