The County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) 9-1-1 Communications Center under the Command and Control Division continues its vital role in daily emergency operations.

Dispatchers are usually the first LACoFD point of contact in calmly and expertly responding to calls for help. They serve with pride and professionalism.

From April to June 2025, there were 149,693 inbound phone calls that resulted in resources dispatched to 112,392 incidents. The busiest day in this quarterly period was May 10, 2025, which saw 1,980 inbound phone calls and 1,509 dispatched incidents.

Separately, on the July 4th holiday, the 9-1-1 Communications Center received 2,516 inbound phone calls and coordinated resources dispatched to 1,599 incidents.

The LACoFD extends its heartfelt appreciation to all dispatchers providing 9-1-1 callers critical support and connecting them to critical services during their time of need.
