Congratulations LACoFD UAV Paramedic Program Graduates! 1024 682 LACoFD Communications Section

On Thursday, April 7, 2022, a formal graduation ceremony was held for nine Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters who graduated from the University of Antelope Valley (UAV) paramedic program. The graduation was held at the UAV campus in Lancaster.

Deputy Fire Chief Anderson Mackey, Medical Director Dr. Clayton Kazan, Battalion Chief Brian Kane, Battalion Chief Michael Velazquez, Captain Heather Hogelund, and Captain Terry Millsaps all joined family and friends of the graduates to celebrate UAV Class 35’s successful completion of the program which included 507 didactic, 160 clinical, and 480+ internship hours.
