On Sunday, September 11, 2022, the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) joined the Los Angeles City Fire Department for a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center in Los Angeles.

Interim Fire Chief Anthony Marrone joined other Los Angeles County and City first responders to pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 people who died during the 9/11 attacks.

This year marked the 21st anniversary of the tragic attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

The Department will never forget the brave first responders and individuals who lost their lives that day.
