Los Angeles County Fire Museum Retiree Celebration

Los Angeles County Fire Museum Retiree Celebration

Los Angeles County Fire Museum Retiree Celebration 1024 682 Colton Lucas

The Los Angeles County Fire Museum hosted the annual Retiree Celebration on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. This celebratory event, held at the Fire Museum in Bellflower, is the result of the vision of retired Assistant Fire Chief Scott Mahan.

The Fire Museum hosted the annual celebration in partnership with many of the County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) affiliated associations.

The program featured presentations by the LACoFD Pipes and Drums, the Honor Guard, and national anthem rendition by Ocean Lifeguard Carol Kemp. The museum’s Board of Directors thanked all the retirees in attendance for their contributions to the fire service.

This luncheon provided retirees with the opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues and celebrate their shared experiences. As part of the fire family, friends and loved ones also joined the celebration to honor the retirees’ many decades of dedicated combined years of service.

The LACoFD extends its gratitude to the Fire Museum for hosting this annual event and welcoming our recently retired personnel as they enter this exciting new chapter of their lives.
