On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone stood alongside Los Angeles County Third District Supervisor Lindsey Horvath to receive a $968,000 grant from Congressmember Luz Rivas to update the Department’s Pacoima Supply Warehouse.
“I am proud to secure nearly $1 million in federal funding to support local emergency response operations for firefighters and storage improvements at the Pacoima Warehouse,” said Congresswoman Rivas. “A strong emergency response starts by making sure our firefighters have quick and efficient access to the equipment and supplies they need to protect our communities. I am grateful for the partnership of Supervisor Horvath and the County of Los Angeles Fire Department in securing this important federal investment that will keep our communities safe during emergencies like wildfires.”
