The County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) Command and Control Division (CCD) has once again set records for dispatched incidents with professionalism and pride, while displaying dedication to serving the residents and communities entrusted to our care.

During the 2024 calendar year, the CCD Dispatch team received an impressive total of 633,078 inbound 9-1-1 phone calls, with dispatched incidents totaling 463,866.  The busiest day of the year was on July 4, 2024, with 2,908 inbound 9-1-1 phone calls, and 1,738 dispatched incidents.

In comparison to 2023, which had 449,364 dispatched incidents, 2024 showed a 3.18% increase.

The LACoFD Command and Control Division undeniably serves as a dynamic and essential hub for 9-1-1emergency communications, ensuring swift and reliable responses.

The LACoFD extends its heartfelt appreciation to the CCD Dispatch team for their unwavering commitment to all callers during their time of need.
