On Sunday, August 3, 2025, County of Los Angeles Fire Station 110 opened its doors to first responder families and representatives from the First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF) for a special day of community, gratitude, and support.

The event, coordinated by the County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) Communications Division and Special Events Section, celebrated the strength and resilience of the families of fallen or injured first responders.

As a long-time partner of LACoFD and other first responder agencies, FRCF provides critical support through scholarships, bereavement funds, and financial relief grants to families affected by line-of-duty deaths, serious injuries, or long-term illnesses.

The Department extended its appreciation to FRCF President and CEO Jillian Crane, the foundation’s board members, donors — including philanthropist Scooter Braun — and most importantly, the youth and families who attended the gathering.

Attendees had the opportunity to share their stories and experiences, with LACoFD members applauding the accomplishments of the youth present.

The event highlighted the ongoing partnership between LACoFD and the FRCF, reinforcing a shared commitment to honoring those who died or were hurt in the line of duty and supporting their families.

Fire Station 110 did an outstanding job hosting a meaningful event with great hospitality and leadership.
