The County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) 9-1-1 Communications Center under the Command and Control Division continues to excel in providing prompt daily emergency operations.

With dispatchers working around the clock to respond calmly and expertly to calls for help, the LACoFD remains proud of the profound work they do to keep residents and communities safe.

During the third quarter of calendar year 2025, from July to September, dispatchers saw an increase in 9-1-1 calls. There were 158,148 inbound calls that resulted in resources dispatched to 116,521 incidents. The busiest day in this quarterly period was July 4, 2025, which saw 2,349 inbound calls and 1,559 dispatched incidents.

The LACoFD extends its deepest appreciation to all dispatchers providing 9-1-1 callers with support and connecting them to critical services during their time of need. These dispatchers often serve as the first, first responders, and we remain thankful for the diligent work they do.
