Congratulations to the County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) newly promoted fire captains, effective February 2, 2026.
Newly promoted fire captains participated and successfully completed the 33rd LACoFD Fire Captain Academy. The academy provided fire captains with leadership training, wildland incident operations training, and other fundamental skills needed in their new capacity.
County of Los Angeles Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone also had an opportunity to address the promotees and present each of them with their new official badges.
