On Friday, August 30, 2024, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) held a formal ceremony to celebrate Fire Suppression Aid (FSA) Class 91 at Fire Camp 8 in the City of Malibu.

Family and friends applauded as the 36 members of FSA Class 91 received certificates of completion from LACoFD Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone and the training cadre for successfully passing the Academy.

“Becoming an FSA required your hard work and passion, but it also takes the never-ending pursuit of knowledge through training,” said Fire Chief Marrone to the graduates.  “We also recognize the importance of courage and teamwork… so staying physically, mentally, and emotionally strong will be required of you throughout your career.”

At the heart of the ceremony, an intense sense of pride and admiration was visible in each attendee’s expression, reflecting the respect for the graduating class’s dedication and commitment throughout the Academy.

Congratulations and best wishes to the graduates of FSA Academy Class 91.
