On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Los Angeles County Fire Museum (Fire Museum) graciously hosted the Family Support Group (FSG) and the County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) Fire Hogs Motorcycle Club (Fire Hogs) for a beautiful fall luncheon.
As part of the luncheon, LACoFD Deputy Fire Chief Brian Martin shared holiday cheer and expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the FSG, Fire Hogs, and Fire Museum.
The Fire Hogs generously presented a $17,000 check to the County of Los Angeles Firefighters’ Memorial Committee (Memorial Committee) for the Widows and Orphans Fund which provides college scholarships to the children of our fallen firefighters. This funding was raised thanks to the kindness of everyone who participated in the Fire Hogs 9th Annual Memorial Ride held earlier this year.
For nearly 40 years, the FSG has provided a safe space and been a source of support for those who have lost their firefighting spouses and partners on the job.
The LACoFD truly appreciates our FSG coordinators and members for always being there to provide comfort, care, and guidance to others when they need it the most. On behalf of the LACoFD, we also thank the Fire Museum, Fire Hogs, and Memorial Committee for supporting the FSG and ensuring the memory of our fallen are never forgotten.
