On Friday, June 14, 2024, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) held a formal ceremony to honor Fire Suppression Aid (FSA) Class 90 at Fire Camp 2 in La Cañada Flintridge.

On Friday, June 14, 2024, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) held a formal ceremony to honor Fire Suppression Aid (FSA) Class 90 at Fire Camp 2 in La Cañada Flintridge.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate the 36 class graduates who received certificates from LACoFD Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone and the training cadre for completing the FSA Academy.

“Day in and day out, our FSA’s make valuable contributions to our mission as proud protectors of life, the environment, and property,” said Chief Marrone to the graduates. “Providing wildland fire protection in our vast area, to the millions of residents of the County of Los Angeles promises to be both rewarding and exciting.”

The ceremony, filled with pride and admiration, shed light on the graduates for their unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication throughout the academy, highlighting their exemplary qualities and skills that will serve them well in their FSA career.
