The County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) is proud to celebrate and observe National Hispanic Heritage Month. In partnership with Los Bomberos de Los Angeles County, the LACoFD recognizes the invaluable contributions of our Hispanic/Latino communities here in Los Angeles County and beyond.
Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated annually from September 15 to October 15, provides an opportunity to reflect upon, honor, and celebrate the rich history, cultural diversity, and unique traditions of Hispanic and Latino communities nationwide. Throughout this month-long tribute, community gatherings, cultural exhibits, and educational initiatives showcase the vibrant legacy and ongoing leadership of Hispanic Americans.
The LACoFD recognizes the impact and enduring commitment of our Hispanic and Latino residents, whose efforts cultivate strong community ties for everyone throughout Los Angeles County. The Department also recognizes the valiant commitment from our Hispanic and Latino personnel, who work tirelessly to ensure our communities and residents remain safe.
