The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) Family Support Group (FSG) hosted a luncheon at the LA County Fire Museum on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Bellflower.

LACoFD Acting Chief Deputy of Emergency Operations Jon O’Brien welcomed the members of the FSG as well as the LACoFD Fire Hogs Motorcycle Club who graciously presented a $24,000 check to the County of Los Angeles Firefighters’ Memorial Committee’s Widows and Orphans Fund.

For over 35 years, the FSG has provided a safe space and been a source of support for those who have lost their firefighting spouses and partners on the job (line of duty and active duty passing).

The LACoFD truly appreciates our FSG coordinators and members for always being there to provide comfort, care, and guidance to others when they need it the most.
