The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) participated in the 38th annual Kingdom Day Parade on Monday, January 16, 2023, and has proudly done so every year since its inception.

This year’s theme was “Making America the Last Best Hope of the World”.

Interim Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone was joined by the executive team, Department personnel, and the Stentorians of LA County in celebrating the dream, life, and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is the first time the annual Kingdom Day Parade took place on the actual holiday since the start of the pandemic in 2020.

The 2022 parade was postponed and later held on June 20 in celebration of the federal holiday, Juneteenth.

The Department is honored to continuously be apart of a historical tradition.
