On Saturday, September 7, 2024, family, friends, and colleagues gathered for a Memorial Service at the Real Life Church in Valencia to honor County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) Fire Fighter Paramedic (FFPM) Dustin M. Roberto.

At the age of 34, FFPM Roberto passed away after a short-term illness on Saturday, August 10. He faithfully served the Department, residents, and communities in Los Angeles County for just under five years. FFPM Roberto’s last assignment was at Fire Station 93 in the City of Palmdale.

LACoFD Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone was joined by Fifth District Supervisor Kathryn Barger, IAFF Local 1014 President Dave Gillotte, Chaplain Vince Roldan, members of the Executive Team, as well as sea of first responders and family as he remembered the life and accomplishments of this fallen hero.

Survived by his wife, Mariah, who is expecting their first child this December, FFPM Roberto is remembered by his loiving parents, Deborah and Joe Roberto, siblings, Susanne and Brian, and a host of family and friends.

The LACoFD extends its heartfelt condolences to the Roberto family during this difficult time. May FFPM Roberto’s memory live on with his loved ones as it will continue to resonate with the LACoFD family.
