On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) Peer Support Team was honored with a Partnership Award at the CAL FIRE’s 2023 Director’s Awards Program in Sacramento.

The LACoFD’s Peer Support Team earned this admirable award for their outstanding support to CAL FIRE members coping with the loss of colleagues involved in the Broadway Incident in August 2023.

The CAL FIRE Director’s Annual Recognition Awards recognize outstanding individual and team accomplishments. Furthermore, these accomplishments have contributed to the success of CAL FIRE’s mission to serve and safeguard the people and protect the property and resources of California.
