Pride Month

Pride Month 683 1024 Isidro Armenta

The County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) proudly celebrates Pride Month. This month’s activities include the wearing of the LACoFD lifeguard and fire series Pride uniform patch, participation in the West Hollywood Pride Parade, and raising of the Progress Pride Flag.

In solidarity with the Board of Supervisors alongside the LGBTQ+ Commission, the LACoFD joined fellow County departments on Friday, June 5, 2026, to raise the Progress Pride Flag, a symbol of love, commitment, and visibility to the LGBTQ+ community. Held at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, the heart of County government, Chief Deputy Jon O’Brien along with members of the Stonewall Alliance represented LACoFD to reaffirm the County’s commitment to building a Los Angeles County where every resident is treated with the dignity they deserve.

The LACoFD proudly celebrates Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community and looks forward to participating in the West Hollywood Pride Parade on Sunday, June 7, 2026!
